Zoom

Integrating with Zoom allows your guests to click a link and meet with you online. There are two ways you can integrate with Zoom:
  1. A meeting room for all bookings
  2. A meeting room for each booking

1. A meeting room for all bookings

If you prefer all guests to use the same link for your meetings, you can paste your personal meeting URL ↗ into the Locations section of your booking pages. All guests will then use that URL to join you. You do not have to connect your Zoom account with this option.

NOTE: if you tend to host back-to-back bookings, there's a chance that guests from two separate calls may pop in to the same Zoom call. To prevent this, consider setting up a waiting room ↗ in Zoom.

2. A meeting room for each booking

If you want a new Zoom meeting for each new booking, then you will need to connect your Zoom account.

Connecting your account

  1. Login to your Bookable account and go to booking pages
  2. Select the booking page you would like to have Zoom meetings on
  3. Select the Locations section
  4. Add a new location and change the type to Zoom
  5. Click Connect your Zoom account and authorize the connection
  6. Follow the steps until you return back to the booking page
  7. (Optional) Turn on Copy settings
  8. Click Save Booking Page
  9. All done! The next booking you receive will have a Zoom meeting URL.

Settings

  • Start meetings with the host video on: The host's video will be on when joining the meeting. The host will have the option to start or end their video during the meeting.
  • Start meetings with the participant video on: The participants' videos will be on when joining the meeting. The participants will have the option to start or end their video during the meeting.
  • Enable waiting room: Participants enter a waiting room until the host allows them to join the meeting

Disconnecting your account

When you disconnect your account, you will no longer be able to add Zoom meetings to your bookings. You can connect your account again at any time.
  1. Login to your Zoom Account and navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace.
  2. Click Manage >> Added Apps or search for the Bookable app.
  3. Click the Bookable app.
  4. Click Remove.
